The Beamo's roughly 20 x 12-inch footprint and lower price point make it a natural fit for a home studio or classroom, while the Beambox line scales up to larger beds and stronger tubes for shops running longer job queues. Choosing between them really comes down to volume and space: hobbyists and small side businesses tend to outgrow the Beamo's speed before they outgrow its work area, at which point the Beambox becomes the sensible upgrade.

FLUX laser cutters like the Beamo deliver up to 1,000 DPI resolution, giving them fine enough precision for detailed engraving down to 0.05mm layer depth.
