1,200 CFM Through an Arm That Can Actually Deliver It

Like the filtered version, the Bulldog-EX is built around a 1.5 HP motor driving 1,200 CFM through an 8-inch diameter, 10-foot articulating arm. The 8-inch arm diameter is the minimum size needed to move 1,200 CFM without significant pressure drop — a specification that many lower-cost competing units miss, despite advertising similar CFM numbers.

The arm uses external joints for precise positioning and holds its set position throughout the welding run. A built-in internal airflow damper lets you dial back the extraction volume when needed — for TIG welding where shielding gas disruption is a concern, or for applications where maximum airflow isn't always required.

The exhaust outlet is field-configurable to exit from either the left or right side of the unit, so you can adapt the installation to your duct run without repositioning the unit itself.
