BWM Laser Engravers

Need a fiber or UV laser that arrives in days, not months? BWM Laser has built laser marking machines for about 20 years, and every BWM laser we carry runs a JPT source: 60W and 100W MOPA fiber models for metal, plus 5W and 10W UV machines for glass and plastics. Each one ships by FedEx air and typically reaches US customers in around 7 business days, duties included.

At The Maker's Chest, our BWM lineup covers the two jobs most shops ask about. A BWM fiber laser such as the 60W MOPA fiber laser handles color marking and deep engraving on stainless steel, titanium and aluminum, with a rotary and two lenses included. For heat-sensitive work, a 355 nm UV laser engraver or 10W UV laser marking machine marks glass and plastics cleanly. Every machine carries a 3-year warranty, duties-paid pricing and US-based support.

Which BWM Laser Is Right for Your Shop?

Frequently Asked Questions

Is BWM Laser a good brand for fiber and UV laser engravers?

BWM Laser (BWMLASER) is a Chinese manufacturer that has built fiber laser marking machines for about 20 years, and the models we carry use JPT laser sources, one of the most widely used source brands in galvo marking machines. Every BWM machine is covered by a 3-year complete-machine warranty with lifetime remote technical support by phone, video or TeamViewer. BWM specifies JPT's M7 (E) grade for its 60W MOPA rather than the cheaper E2 grade, and ships each unit by FedEx air with duties included.

Should I buy the BWM 60W or 100W MOPA fiber laser?

Choose the 60W for color marking, jewelry and fine detail, and the 100W when deep engraving and batch production fill most of your day. Both use JPT M7 (E) MOPA sources with 2–500 ns adjustable pulse width, and both include a rotary and two field lenses. The 100W adds a motorized Z-axis and about two-thirds more average power, while the 60W has higher pulse energy (2.0 mJ vs. 1.5 mJ) and costs $1,100 less.

When should I choose a BWM UV laser instead of a fiber laser?

Choose a UV laser when most of your work is glass, crystal, plastics or heat-sensitive electronics. BWM's 355 nm UV marking machines work with very little heat, producing frosted marks on glassware and clean contrast on white plastics that a 1064 nm fiber laser tends to melt or miss. UV lasers can't deep engrave metal, so a MOPA fiber laser remains the better tool when depth matters. The BWM 5W UV is air-cooled, and the 10W UV ships with an S&A CWUL-10 water chiller included.
