100W Power, a 1,000 × 600mm Bed, and Nearly Double the Vertical Clearance — Built for Daily Production.

A 39.37" × 23.62" (1000 × 600mm) workspace, 11.02" (280mm) of Z-axis clearance, and the same 1,200 mm/s / 2G DSP-controlled motion system as the rest of the Cobra line — the Cobra 10 is sized for shops running production every day, not just occasionally.

Once a shop moves past occasional custom orders into daily production runs, two things start to matter more than raw wattage: how much material fits on the bed at once, and how thick a piece — or how tall a jig — the machine can actually clear. The OneLaser Cobra 10 is built around both. A 100W water-cooled glass CO2 tube, a 1000 × 600mm work area, and 280mm of Z-axis travel — nearly double the Cobra 8's clearance — give it real headroom for thicker stock, risers, and fixtures without changing anything about the machine's automation or control system.

100W and 280mm of Z-Axis Clearance — Room for Thicker Jobs, Not Just Bigger Ones

Bed size gets most of the attention, but Z-axis travel is what determines whether a machine can actually run thicker material, deeper engraved objects, or a jig stacked on top of your workpiece. The Cobra 10's 11.02" (280mm) of Z-axis travel — nearly double the Cobra 8's 150mm — means less time spent working around clearance limits and more flexibility for tumblers, boxes, and multi-layer builds sitting on a riser.

1,200 mm/s and 2G Acceleration Across a Bigger Bed

The Cobra 10 runs the same motion system as the rest of the line: 1,200 mm/s max engraving speed backed by 2G acceleration, so speed doesn't drop off as the bed gets bigger. That's a meaningful edge over the segment average — most 100W-class glass-tube machines in this size range top out closer to 600 mm/s, meaning the Cobra 10 can realistically finish comparable jobs in a fraction of the time.

DSP Control: 2–3× Faster Than G-Code on Full-Bed Jobs

The Cobra 10's DSP (Digital Signal Processor) control system plans toolpaths in real time rather than executing raw G-code line by line, cutting idle travel between cuts. That matters even more on a larger bed, where inefficient path planning has more room to waste time. OneLaser cites jobs that take 30 minutes on a G-code machine finishing in 10–15 minutes on the Cobra Series — a difference that compounds when you're running a full production queue.

MagSwitch™, Autofocus, and a 16MP Camera — The Same Automation, Scaled Up

  • Autofocus: Sets the optimal focal distance automatically on every job — no manual measuring, even across a larger bed.
  • Red-Dot Positioning: Shows the exact optical path on the material before the job starts, useful for lining up multiple pieces across the bigger work area.
  • MagSwitch™: OneLaser's tool-free magnetic lens holder makes lens changes and cleaning fast, without needing to recalibrate.
  • 16MP Camera: High-resolution overhead camera for drag-and-drop artwork placement — especially useful when batching multiple pieces across a 1000×600mm bed.

Front-to-Rear Pass-Through for Materials Up to 45mm Thick

The through-feed door design opens from both the front and rear, letting long boards, signage blanks, and thick stock (up to 45mm) pass straight through the cabinet instead of being limited by the interior bed length — useful for running stock longer than the bed itself.

Aerospace-Grade Frame + Ball-Screw Z-Axis — Precision That Doesn't Sag Under a Bigger Gantry

A larger bed means a longer gantry, and a longer gantry needs a stiffer frame to hold its geometry at speed. The Cobra 10's gantry is built from integrally extruded, aerospace-grade aluminum, NVH-tested to resist flex and vibration across the full width of the bed. The Z-axis runs on a precision ball screw for ±0.01mm repeat positioning accuracy, and a synchronized belt system eliminates backlash — so focal height and cut precision stay consistent whether you're working in a corner or across the full bed.

Smart Dual Air-Assist — Automatic Switching, No Manual Adjustment

The built-in Dual Air-Assist system automatically toggles between Low-Air mode for clean detail engraving and High-Air mode for faster, safer cutting on thicker material — fully automatic and software-controlled, with no manual valve to remember between job types.

300+ Materials Now, Bare Metal Later — Optional 3W/5W IR Module

The Cobra 10's CO2 laser handles 300+ materials out of the box — wood, acrylic, leather, glass, rubber, and more. An optional 3W or 5W infrared (IR) module adds bare and coated metal marking (stainless steel, anodized aluminum) without a second machine. Sold separately starting around $599, it installs without professional help and integrates directly with LightBurn.

Built-In Temperature Monitoring and Enclosed Safety Design

The Cobra 10 ships in a fully enclosed housing with safety lid detection and a built-in temperature sensor with intelligent monitoring, flagging abnormal heat conditions before they become a problem — important on a machine running longer production queues.

What's in the Box

  • OneLaser Cobra 10 (100W) laser engraver/cutter unit
  • Fixed honeycomb worktable
  • Focusing lens
  • Air-assist nozzle and accessories
  • Power cord and setup documentation

Not included: An industrial water chiller is required to run the Cobra 10 and is sold separately (OneLaser's CW-5200 or an equivalent unit rated for 90–150W glass tubes is recommended). Budget for this as part of your total setup cost.

Warranty, Support & Made in USA Engineering

The OneLaser Cobra 10 is backed by a 1-year manufacturer's warranty on the laser engraving machine, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. OneLaser's machines are engineered by a 100% U.S.-based team, with nationwide on-site service available across the U.S.

The Maker's Chest Difference

The OneLaser Cobra 10 is available directly from OneLaser and through other resellers. Here's what changes when you buy it through The Maker's Chest:

  • 🛡️ 75-day returns — more than double OneLaser's standard 30-day direct return window. That's real time to run the Cobra 10 through your actual production queue and confirm it's the right machine before you're locked in.
  • 💻 A free LightBurn Pro license included — a $199 value, activated and ready to go. OneLaser doesn't include this when you buy direct, so you're not stuck running the 30-day trial or paying out of pocket to get the machine working.
  • 🇺🇸 Expert USA-based technical support — our team can help with LightBurn setup, material settings, and camera alignment workflow, on top of whatever OneLaser's own support provides.
  • 📞 Dual lines of support — phone and email, so you have a direct path to a real person when you're mid-production and something needs attention.
  • 🔧 Honest pre-sale guidance — not sure if the Cobra 10's bed and clearance are enough, or if the Cobra 14 makes more sense for your material mix? Talk to us before you order and we'll give you a straight answer based on your actual volume.

Choose the Cobra 10 if you're running daily production, need the extra 130mm of Z-axis clearance over the Cobra 8 for thicker stock or jigged pieces, and a 1000×600mm bed comfortably fits your typical batch size.

Choose the Cobra 8 if floor space is tighter and your jobs don't need the larger bed or extra Z-axis clearance — you'll get identical speed, resolution, and automation in a smaller footprint. Choose the Cobra 14 if you're running full sheet stock or large-format signage that needs the 1400×900mm bed and the extra cutting power of 130W.

Frequently Asked Questions about the OneLaser Cobra 10

Q: What's the difference between the Cobra 8, Cobra 10, and Cobra 14? A: They share identical speed (1,200 mm/s), acceleration (2G), resolution (1,000 DPI), and automation features. What changes is laser power (90W / 100W / 130W), bed size (800×500mm / 1000×600mm / 1400×900mm), and Z-axis clearance — the Cobra 10 and 14 both get 280mm of vertical travel versus the Cobra 8's 150mm. If your work involves thicker stock, risers, or jigs, that clearance difference matters as much as bed size.

Q: Why does the Cobra 10 have so much more Z-axis travel than the Cobra 8? A: 280mm versus 150mm isn't just a spec bump — it reflects the Cobra 10 being built for shops running a wider range of material thicknesses and fixtures without hitting a clearance ceiling. If you regularly work with tumblers, boxes, multi-layer assemblies, or risers, that extra clearance avoids having to remove the honeycomb table or improvise workarounds.

Q: Does the Cobra 10 need a water chiller? A: Yes — it's required, not optional. The Cobra 10 runs on a 100W water-cooled glass CO2 tube, and without proper cooling the tube can overheat and fail. The chiller is sold separately (OneLaser's CW-5200 or an equivalent unit rated for up to 150W is recommended), so factor it into your total setup budget.

Q: What materials can the Cobra 10 cut and engrave? A: 300+ non-metal materials out of the box — wood, plywood, acrylic, leather, glass, rubber, cardboard, and fabric. Bare or coated metal requires the optional 3W/5W IR module, sold separately.

Q: How does the Cobra 10 compare in speed to other 100W CO2 lasers? A: Most 100W-class glass-tube machines in this bed-size range are rated around 600 mm/s. The Cobra 10 runs at up to 1,200 mm/s with 2G acceleration and a DSP control system that OneLaser cites as finishing jobs 2–3× faster than G-code-controlled machines — a real production-time difference on daily batch runs, not just a spec sheet number.

Q: What's the Cobra 10's warranty, and what does it cover? A: 1 year on the laser engraving machine, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. It doesn't cover damage from misuse, unapproved modifications, or normal wear on consumables like the tube and lenses.

Q: Why buy the Cobra 10 from The Maker's Chest instead of directly from OneLaser? A: Our 75-day return window is more than double OneLaser's 30-day direct policy, giving you real time to run the machine through your actual production queue. You also get USA-based expert support by phone and email, plus honest guidance on whether the Cobra 10 or Cobra 14 better fits your volume and material mix.

Q: Is the Cobra 10 overkill for a smaller shop just getting into production? A: Not necessarily — it depends on your bed and clearance needs more than your business size. If your jobs regularly need more than an 800×500mm bed or more than 150mm of vertical clearance, the Cobra 10 fits even a smaller shop. If your work fits comfortably on the smaller bed, the Cobra 8 gets you the same speed and automation for less floor space.

Q: What's in the box, and does it include the water chiller? A: The Cobra 10 ships with the laser unit, a fixed honeycomb worktable, focusing lens, and air-assist accessories. The water chiller is a required separate purchase — the 100W glass tube can't run without one. We're happy to help you pick the right chiller before you order.

  • This service utilises power tailgates with two-man crews or crane trucks when required and this is included in the quoted price.
  • The receiver will be contacted prior to delivery to arrange a suitable delivery date and time. Deliveries are scheduled for either an AM or PM slot on any given day.
  • Delivery is to front car port, driveway, doorstep or wherever practical depending upon site access. Drivers are not permitted to move item(s) within the residence or around the property due to OHS reasons.
  • This service assumes reasonable and safe access to the site is available. Overhanging trees, steep driveways, unsealed driveways, narrow driveways or streets or an unforeseen obstruction may deem the delivery unavailable.
