The Argon Mini will easily fit in a backpack, large purse, Orion mPulse carrying case, or even in your back pocket! Perfect for pop-ups and other remote events, the Argon Mini is easy to tote from one place to another. Check out these hugely beneficial small features:

The Argon Mini is available in packs of 2, 4, 6, and 8. The price per tank lowers when the purchase quantity increases. Every Argon Mini shipment, regardless of how many tanks are included, requires an additional $45 hazardous material feemandated by the shipping carrier. The hazardous material fee is included in the price displayed for each pack.
Purchasing Tip: The hazardous material fee is per shipment, NOT per tank. You'll save money when you order more tanks in one shipment.
The Argon Mini is designed for one-time use only. The tank cannot be refilled. However, the tank can be recycled with a local metal recycler (ask your local recycler for more information on how to prepare your tank for recycling). To that point, Sunstone encourages you to recycle all depleted tanks.
How Many Welds from One Tank?
The number of welds you can get from the Argon Mini depends upon a number of different factors, but generally speaking you should be able to complete around 650 welds with one tank. You may get more or you may get less.
Will I Need an Argon Regulator?
Yes. You will need to order the Argon Mini Regulator. Other regulators will NOT fit the Argon Mini tank.
Need a Slightly Bigger Tank?
If you need twice the argon for twice the number of welds from one tank, explore the Argon Mini Plus!

Argon is used as a shielding gas in Sunstones Orion Welding Systems. During the welding, process metals are exposed to temperatures of upwards of 7000 Degrees. At these temperatures, most metals become liquid, which allows the formation of the weld. Argon is used to protect the molten pool of metal against elements in the Atmosphere including Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Hydrogen. These elements cause reactions with the liquid weld pool, such as porosity and increased weld spatter. Argon also plays an important role in maintaining Arc stability, which leads to increased weld penetration, better filler wire transfer, and better weld appearance. Sunstone's Premium argon is 99.50% pure Argon. Pure Argon refers to the gas being just Argon, and not mixed with another gas.
What is The Recommended Argon Pressure?
Sunstones Orion Welding systems work best at around 10 PSI. The pressure can be adjusted depending on the workpiece and how far the electrode protrudes from the welding stylus. The further out the electrode, the more argon pressure will be required in order to get proper coverage.

Home Delivery (Bulky Items)
This service is generally for products over 40kg in weight, as it is a requirement for these products to be palletised for delivery.
This service utilises power tailgates with two-man crews or crane trucks when required and this is included in the quoted price.
The receiver will be contacted prior to delivery to arrange a suitable delivery date and time. Deliveries are scheduled for either an AM or PM slot on any given day.
Delivery is to front car port, driveway, doorstep or wherever practical depending upon site access. Drivers are not permitted to move item(s) within the residence or around the property due to OHS reasons.
This service assumes reasonable and safe access to the site is available. Overhanging trees, steep driveways, unsealed driveways, narrow driveways or streets or an unforeseen obstruction may deem the delivery unavailable.
If your delivery address is in a regional or remote location, we recommend shipping to the nearest depot as the most affordable option.
Other Terms & Conditions
If you happen to miss the delivery, you will be required to pick up your item(s) from the freight company's depot. Re-delivery can be arranged to your home, however this will incur extra costs.
We can't advise on the exact time and day the delivery will occur as this is not within our control, however you will be emailed the tracking details where you will be able to contact the freight company for more accurate timeframes.
It is your responsibility to advise us if:
someone will be available to sign for delivery.
there's somewhere safe the item can be left if no one will be home.
if the address is a business address, as we will require the business hours of the business and name of the building.
you notice any damage. If so, you should make note of it when signing for delivery or do not agree to accept the delivery. If you do accept delivery you are required to immediately take photos using your smart phone or camera of the damaged packaging or products inside the packaging.
